cooking with love

Over a decade

our story

“From the ‘kampung’ to London, bringing the classic, traditional and original taste of Malaysia.”

Born in Penang with deep Kedahan influences, Noor Azlina’s love for food began in the kampung where her grandparents sold Nasi lemak to local factories around Butterworth. Those early flavours of home inspired her passion for cooking with authenticity, love and the joy of sharing.

In 2011, she introduced her dishes to East London’s Bromley by Bow Centre, and within a year was invited by Matrade (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation) to showcase Malaysian cuisine at Trafalgar Square’s Malaysian Night, an honour she carried through to 2016. By 2013, demand led to the creation of Azi’s Kitchen and Catering, with cafés in Whitechapel and Roman Road Bow, serving both the community and private catering.

In 2015, the journey grew into Cafe Rasa Malaysia, opening at Westfield Stratford City, London’s busiest mall. Today, this remains our one and only café, proudly recognised as one of the city’s most loved Malaysian dining spots.

Alongside our café, we also developed our own Rasa pastes and products, crafted to reflect the classic, traditional and original flavours of Malaysia. With care, we have made them healthier and allergy friendly, so everyone can enjoy authentic Malaysian cooking at home.

At Cafe Rasa Malaysia, all our food is 100% Halal, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and infused with the heart of Malaysian heritage. We are proud to serve food that is nutritious, satisfying, affordable and above all, delicious.
